Ammon and Christine

Call your bookie, cash in your bets, and marvel in amazement! Ammon and Christine have lasted a whole year! They are still living the happy life in New York City. Greenwich Village offers everything they could possibly ask: a huge variety of restaurants, an inexhaustible supply of Ben and Jerry’s two doors down, and hours of entertaining people-watching. Christine is still working for the corporate establishment in a very high profile law firm and planning to own the place within a few months. Ammon moved on from his job with the internet company that was unable to pay him (surprise, surprise). He has since moved on to a new internet start up, IndustryBrains.com, and this time he is actually getting paid! Ammon is also spending numerous hours studying for the GMAT while Christine studies for the LSAT. Feels like our first date all over again. And the biggest news of recent months, we have an addition to our little family. The pitter patter of little feet has brought joy into our lives from the day he arrived, on June 17^th, at six pounds, four ounces. He is growing at such an alarming rate that we may have to get a bigger litter box. Calm down, Mom, it is just a cat. His given name is Good Boy, but Ammon prefers Goobie. Such exciting lives we lead! Until next time (six months from now at this rate), may all of your hearts be as much atwitter as ours!

Juxtaposed!

      Ammon and Christine met in the most innocuous of circumstances: Economics class. Their first date together was a whirlwind of romance, adventure, and excitement. It consisted of Ammon going to Christine's apartment, eating her leftover dinner, and the two of them studying for the next day's economics exam until the wee hours of the morning. After acing the exam and subsequently the class (which, as it turned out, Christine was not required to take after all... fate?), they knew it must be love. One year, one month, and twenty-three days later, on December 30th, 2000, much to Ammon's bewilderment, Christine managed to accept his proposal of marriage through tears of laughter and surprise. They have been inseparable since they met, and plan on strengthening and nurturing their bond for years to come. One year down, dozens and dozens to go.
